The region of Zonza will seduce the nature lovers. Many hikes are possible in Alta Rocca. The needles of Bavella are the emblematic places of this region. You can admire them on the road of the pass.

Porto Pollo, once a fishing port, is a small seaside resort enjoying a peaceful setting in a still preserved nature. In the same municipality, Serra di Ferro is a typical village where it is pleasant to stroll. The beach of Cupabia, with its clear waters, is very popular in the summer and has small coves for those looking for more tranquility.

Propriano is located at the end of the Gulf of Valinco with its calm and clear waters. This pleasant little port has become an active center of tourism. You can enjoy, in town, the beach of Valincu and Mancinu, and behind the commercial port, the beach of Lido and Corsaire. The most beautiful beach of the region is certainly that of Portogliolo, a wild site, fine sand, calm and clear waters.

Sartène, the most Corsican of Corsican cities according to Prosper Mérimée, is a few kilometers from the Valinco Gulf. While the city has kept only a few vestiges of its Genoese past, its alleys lined with high houses are full of history. With the turquoise sea, fine sandy beaches and wild creeks nearby, prehistoric sites and hiking trails, Sartene is ideally situated for an active and varied vacation.

From the Tyrrhenian Sea to the peaks of Bavella, the town of Zonza stretches between the sea and the mountains. From canyoning to lazing on the beach, from hiking to sea kayaking, the commune offers nature lovers an exceptional territory for discovery. In the mountains, discover Zonza, a village with an exceptional natural and architectural heritage. Also take the time to discover the San Martinu valley, its hiking trails and the Cavu river which offers surprising natural basins. Dominating the laricio pines hanging on the bare rocks, the needles of Bavella are a pure wonder. These famous needles amaze every year the visitors with its polymorphous rocks with changing colors.

To the south, here is the city of Bonifacio, the most visited exceptional site of Corsica, perched on the top of impressive cliffs beaten by the waves. Founded in 833 by Boniface, Count of Tuscany, the upper town has kept a medieval atmosphere from its tumultuous past. But Bonifacio is also a safe harbor, with easy access, which welcomes large yachts. It is the kingdom of the wind which blows there nearly 250 days a year.

Near Bonifacio, there are beautiful coves with transparent waters, some of which are difficult to access but quite quiet. The beaches of Piantarella and Calalonga, the gulf of Santa Manza, the bay of Rondinara enjoy a great diversity of landscapes with a succession of sandy coves.

Ste Lucie de Porto-Vecchio is a small, quiet and friendly resort for your vacations in Corsica. It offers you an infinite variety of landscapes and atmospheres which make the richness of the Commune of Zonza, from the gulf of Pinarellu to the Aiguilles de Bavella. The village of Pinarellu is a charming family resort, with its marine cemetery and its bay offering a magnificent white sand beach bordered by a thick pine forest.

On the coast of Porto-Vecchio are nestled some of the most beautiful beaches of Corsica. The beautiful bay of Santa Giulia borders a white sand lagoon caught between the sea and the pond, a natural reserve of wild birds. At the beach, you can practice various water sports. The clear waters, dotted with small islands in the distance, go from deep blue to the clearest emerald color. An irresistible invitation to relax and swim.
